ED Equipment (hereinafter referred to as “ED-Biz”) recognizes that the protection of personal information which is treated in the planning, development and sales business of cosmetics is an important responsibility for us. For the preceding purpose, we formulate this policy and ensure that it should be disseminated to all employees and implemented.

We shall use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use for which consent has been obtained from the person identified by such personal information. In addition, we shall take measures to prevent the use for any purpose other than the above.

2. Compliance of Laws and Regulations; Review of this Policy

In order to ensure the protection of personal information, we shall comply with laws and regulations for the protection of personal information, guidelines stipulated by the government and other codes, and ordinances, rules and regulations concerning the protection of personal information established by administrative authorities. Furthermore, we shall make an endeavour to review as necessary and improve the content of this policy.

3. Implementation of Security Measures

We will implement technical and organisational security measures in a reasonable manner by taking into due consideration the risk of leakage, loss or damage of personal information that has been entrusted to us. We shall promptly and appropriately respond to and correct any problem that may arise.
